So, how does this all work?

Our design process is where creativity comes to life! From the initial inspiration to the final reveal, we take care of every detail. We’ll guide you through each stage—brainstorming the perfect design, managing orders, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring everything comes together seamlessly.

  • We start with a 60-minute in-person meeting for our local friends (and a video call for our long-distance ones), where we’ll get to know each other, learn about your project scope, budget, and timelines. After we’ve got all the details of your design hopes + dreams, we’ll create and send over a design proposal with all the details and the estimated cost of your project.


  • Now for the exciting part! We kick off the design process by sending you some fun homework—a design questionnaire and a Pinterest board to gather inspiration. Then, we’ll meet to take measurements, review your ideas, and map out the schedule for Design Phase I. This ensures you know exactly what to expect every step of the way!

  • Once your design plans are finalized and approved, we move on to ordering and tracking everything. To streamline deliveries, we use a receiving warehouse, ensuring all your furniture arrives at once. Our Procurement Team manages every detail along the way, keeping everything on track. Best of all, you’ll always be in the loop with regular updates on the status of your furniture and materials throughout the process.

  • As soon as construction kicks off, we collaborate closely with the general contractor to ensure every design detail is executed flawlessly. Just like in the Ordering & Tracking Phase, you’ll receive regular progress updates—keeping you informed every step of the way with our Collaborative Tracker (Notion), so you’re never left in the dark.

  • The big reveal is here! We’ll coordinate a day (or multiple, if needed) for furniture delivery and the finishing touches to bring your design to life. All that’s left is to celebrate your stunning new (or refreshed) space—don’t worry, we’ll bring the bubbly!
